Very pleased to announce that we are offering a “Riverside Rover” ticket in partnership with the South Tynedale Railway. Enjoy a Sunday afternoon steaming down the South Tynedale Valley on “Barber”
A £12 ticket will buy you a train ticket for the return journey to Lintley Station as well as a couple of hours taking in some of Kirkhaugh’s fascinating heritage- Learn about the Bronze Age burial mounds , the mysterious stone circles along the riverside, the unique Church at Kirkhaugh and, of course, the Epiacum Roman Fort remains in the surrounding landscape
