We encourage people with an interest in the site, especially local people, to join the ‘Friends of Epiacum’. The "Friends" has been established in order to give members an opportunity to:

We are delighted that Stewart Ainsworth has agreed to take on the role of “President” and we look forward to his varied contributions to the work of the Friends.
Our first “FOE” event was on the 21st July 2012, when Stewart led a Guided Walk around the site, looking specifically “beyond the fort” at the archaeological remains identified by the lidar imaging which was carried out during the recent research.
